Take for instance, one of his singles “My Story” featuring the turn up king, 2 Chainz. While Kells sings the hook of the song in his usual fashion, 2 Chainz brings the hype with his rap verse. If the rest of the album is anything like this single, I want in!

R.Kelly has a lot of help on his new album, “Black Panties”, from some of the best in music today. Kelly Rowland, Future, Ludacris, Migos, Juicy J and Young Jeezy all make appearances on “Black Panties” proving that the album is perfect for old school R.Kelly fans and new school R.Kelly fans alike. Not to mention his collaboration with Lady Gaga on the 2013 American Music Awards that had everybody either covering their eyes or moving in to get a closer look. Either way, whenever Kells teams up with other artist, he’s sure to provide us with some entertainment!

5. His 2013 BET Awards Performance Was The Preview Of The Greatness That Was To Come

Let’s take it back to the summer of this year when R. Kelly performed a medley of his hits on the 2013 BET Awards. There was not one person sitting down in their seats while Kells was on stage, including those of us who watched it from our living rooms. While Twitter users (including myself) went crazy tweeting their favorite R.Kelly lyrics and reminiscing on their favorite singles, audience members danced and sang along like we were back in the 1990s! This performance was just a little preview for what was to come because it definitely got us all in the mood for R.Kelly to come back and grace us with the grown and sexy music that we’ve been missing!
