Cynthia Reads NeNe For Filth
Cynthia Bailey’s had enough of NeNe’s shady boots and slipped into a pair of her own. In case you missed it, NeNe appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” last Sunday after the season 7 premiere of “Real Housewives Of Atlanta” where she blasted Cynthia, calling her a “lapdog.”
“As people have said over the years that Cynthia was my lap dog, which she never was my lap dog and that’s the honest God’s truth,” she said. “But I can see her being someone else’s lap dog. She doesn’t seem to have a backbone.”
Cynthia wasn’t feeling NeNe’s snide comments and responded to her ex-bestie on her Bravo blog,
WAS I SURPRISED BY NENE’S REMARKS TOWARD ME ON WWHL?
Not at all. That’s who she is. It’s the same ol’ two step. Embrace the people that are with you and try to destroy the people who are not. I have seen her do it to other ladies on the show (past and present), so although it was disappointing, it was not a big surprise when she did it to me. It’s no secret that NeNe has gotten into it or fallen out (at one time or the other) with mostly all the ladies. My thing is this — if I’m so irrelevant and you don’t want to be my storyline (or should I say me be yours), why spend so much energy talking about me? That energy could have been put to better use looking for a decent wig and a more flattering makeup direction.#shade #meow #newfriends #newattitude
Oop. Yesterday, we reported that Apollo and Phaedra’s relationship woes are allegedly weighing heavy on her friendship with Kandi. The “RHOA” drama is at an all-time high.

Ginuwine Squashes Divorce & Bankruptcy Rumors
We knew Ginuwine’s marriage to Sole — his wife of 11 years — was on the rocks but we had no idea they were headed for divorce. Earlier this week, Ginuwine’s lawyer, Bruce Beckner, exposed the impending divorce during a pretrial hearing over unpaid royalties to Robert Reives — the executive producer of Ginuwine’s debut album. Apparently Robert is seeking $250,000 in back royalties from the soul singer’s five-album deal with Sony, reports the Washington Post.
“Mr. Lumpkin is very close to declaring bankruptcy,” Beckner said in court. “He owes my firm a ton of money and a bunch of other people a ton of money. He owes Uncle Sam 300-odd thousand dollars in back income taxes,” he added. News of Ginuwine’s financial woes and flailing marriage shocked fans when it hit the Internet. The “Pony” singer took to Instagram to respond to the chatter:
“I need to address yesterday’s rumor because it is not totally accurate and I don’t want my wife being made out to be the bad guy here. We are NOT yet divorced, but we ARE currently separated and working towards coming to our own agreement, without lawyers, to amicably and fairly divorce. We’ve kept it quiet because it is really no ones business but ours and our family’s. Therefore, reports that she left me “broke” are untrue. She has been a good wife and mother and my poor choices and actions over many years have lead to this. I am on a path of becoming a better man and part of that is taking responsibility for my own choices and behavior in life, so that’s what I’m doing by releasing this statement. I thank everyone who has been there for us through these trying times. You are appreciated. God bless.”
Ginuwine has been allegedly struggling behind-the-scenes with an alcohol problem. Earlier this year, he posted a photo of his daughter playing with money with a caption that implied she had stripped for the cash. Sole responded, “I’ve remained silent but my child will not be publicly humiliated by a sick joke be some1 who’s judgement is impaired.”
Damn Gina.

Bill Cosby Rape Victim Wants To Know Why No One Believed Her Story
When it was first revealed Bill Cosby allegedly date raped a woman who thought of him as a mentor, the media shied away from reporting on the topic. Perhaps it was just too unfathomable to imagine the beloved comedian, actor and activist as a rapist. Despite falling on deaf ears, the rape allegations continued. More women came out claiming Cosby had too taken advantage of them.
Until recently, Cosby had seemingly evaded public ridicule. Then comedian Hannibal Buress blatantly called him a rapist and the public had no choice but to respond. Recently, Cosby asked Twitter to “meme him” which only resulted in series of tweets that looked like this:
How's this @BillCosby? pic.twitter.com/SKQMGkqKjl

One of Cosby’s victims, Andrea Constand, who filed a lawsuit against the “Cosby Show” icon in 2004, detailed one of the horrific events, saying:
In one case, I blacked out after having dinner and one glass of wine at his New York City brownstone, where he had offered to mentor me and discuss the entertainment industry. When I came to, I was in my panties and a man’s t-shirt, and Cosby was looming over me. I’m certain now that he drugged and raped me. But as a teenager, I tried to convince myself I had imagined it.
In a recent interview, she posed the question “While I am grateful for the new attention to Cosby’s crimes, I must ask my own questions: Why wasn’t I believed?”
She continued, “Why didn’t I get the same reaction of shock and revulsion when I originally reported it? Why was I, a victim of sexual assault, further wronged by victim blaming when I came forward? The women victimized by Bill Cosby have been talking about his crimes for more than a decade. Why didn’t our stories go viral?”
Listen to the interview, here:
So what say you readers? Why didn’t anyone believe her?
